Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series Set for 23 Races at 15 Tracks in 2025’s Chase for $50,000 Series Championship

Enhanced Driver Loyalty Program Offers Series Regulars Travel Money for Each Track the Series Visits

MILTON, Fla. (Nov. 11) — The Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series continues to raise the bar for Dirt Late Model racing in the Southeast with the release of its plans for the 2025 race season.

Along with unveiling a 23-race schedule featuring events at 15 different tracks, the series is pleased to announce that the tour’s 2025 champion will once again earn a $50,000 payday at season’s end. The series has also made a major boost to its Driver Loyalty Program in its third season, becoming the first regional Dirt Late Model series to pay travel money to its full-time race teams.

Through the enhanced Driver Loyalty Program, the top 10 drivers in the series points standings heading to each track the tour visits will receive $500 in travel money in addition to their race payouts. This initiative builds on the tour’s commitment to supporting grassroots Super Late Model racing in the Southeast by promoting sustainable payouts that are lucrative to race teams while also providing racetracks the opportunity to host profitable events.

The series also increased the total end-of-season points fund by $8,000 for 2025, spreading the additional money across positions sixth through 10th. The addition brings the total 2025 points fund to $135,000.

In addition to the added travel money and the points fund increase, the series revamped its race payout structure for 2025, raising its minimum Friday night purse to $8,000 to win from the $5,000-to-win minimum purse in 2024.

The series will get an early start to its 2025 season with its first-ever Georgia-Florida Speedweeks events set for Monday, Jan. 27 and Tuesday, Jan. 28 at Needmore Speedway in Norman Park, Ga. The two $10,000-to-win programs are non-points races, offering teams the chance at an early-season tuneup before kicking off the points chase in March.

After hosting the tour’s championship weekend in 2024, I-75 Raceway in Sweetwater, Tenn., will play another important role for the series in 2025 as the host of the series’ regular season opener on Saturday, March 8. The single-day event will open the title chase with a $20,000-to-win program.

The series will then contest back-to-back doubleheaders with $8,000-to-win Friday night shows and $12,000-to-win Saturday programs at Whynot Motorsports Park in Meridian, Miss., March 28-29 and Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, Ala., April 4-5.

The tour will hit its stride in May with six races planned. The busy stretch starts with a trip to Lavonia Speedway in Lavonia, Ga., for a $10,000-to-win show on Friday, May 2, followed by the $20,000-to-win Mike Duvall Memorial at Cherokee Speedway in Gaffney, S.C., on Saturday May 3.

The series heads to Blue Ridge, Ga., for its first-ever appearance at Sugar Creek Raceway on Friday, May 16 for a $8,000 event, followed by a return to Smoky Mountain Speedway in Maryville, Tenn., on Saturday, May 17 for the $15,000-to-win King of the Mountain. May wraps up with the Southern Showcase May 30-31 at Swainsboro Raceway in Swainsboro, Ga., with a doubleheader paying $8,000-to-win on Friday and $15,000 to win on Saturday.

June will see the tour make its first trip to Florence Speedway in Union, Ky., on Saturday, June 28 for a $20,000-to-win race at one of dirt racing’s most iconic venues. The Kentucky doubleheader weekend will also feature the tour’s return to Lake Cumberland Speedway in Burnside, Ky., for a $10,000-to-win show on Friday, June 27.

The tour will once again celebrate the Fourth of July weekend with a visit to Senoia Raceway in Senoia, Ga. The Independence Shootout will pay $15,000 to the winner on Saturday, July 5.

Duck River Raceway Park in Wheel, Tenn., once again features prominently on the tour’s schedule with its annual Deep Fried 75 weekend delivering $8,000-to-win and $15,000-to-win main events Aug. 1-2.

The series is set to make another first-time appearance at North Georgia Speedway in Chatsworth, Ga., on Saturday, Aug. 23 for another $15,000-to-win feature. A doubleheader weekend for the series is planned for Sept. 26-27 with the host track to be announced at a later date.

The series will wrap up its 2025 season with a huge weekend of racing back at Cherokee Speedway. The $50,000 series championship chase will conclude during the 35th annual Blue-Gray 100 Oct. 10-11, with a $35,000 race winner’s check up for grabs in the historic event. The Blue-Gray 100 winner’s check and the championship payout mean one driver could put an exclamation mark on the 2025 season with a potential $85,000 weekend.

2025 Championship Points Fund: 1. $50,000, 2. $25,000, 3. $15,000, 4. $12,000, 5. $10,000, 6. $8,000, 7. $6,000, 8. $4,000, 9. $3,000. 10. $2,000. Total - $135,000.
