Joseph Joiner Bags $15,000 Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series victory at All-Tech
LAKE CITY, Fla. (April 13) — Scoring another big win at one of his favorite racetracks, polesitter Joseph Joiner of Milton, Fla., led all 50 laps of Saturday's Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series feature at All-Tech Raceway to earn a $15,000 payday in the Southbound Throwdown presented Earth Tek.
Joiner, whose previous wins at All-Tech include two of the track's biggest annual events in the Powell Family Memorial and the Harvey Jones Memorial, jumped ahead of second-starting Carson Ferguson of Lincolnton, N.C., on the start of Saturday's feature and pulled away from fourth-starting Scott Bloomquist of Mooresburg, Tenn., on a lap-45 restart to take the checkers with a 1.306-second advantage.
Bloomquist settled for the runner-up finish with Ferguson rounding out the podium in third, one night after scoring a $5,000 victory in the opening round of All-Tech's doubleheader weekend. Series points leader Brandon Overton of Evans, Ga., finished fourth and Chris Ferguson of Mt Holly, N.C., was fifth.
The HTF tour returns to action Saturday, April 27 with a $15,000-to-win event at Smoky Mountain Speedway in Maryville, Tenn.
