Hunt The Front Super Dirt Series
Veteran Announcer Travis Scott to Serve as the Voice of the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series in its Inaugural Season
MILTON, Fla. (March 27, 2023) — When the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series presented by Sweet Victory Apparel launches April 7-8 at All-Tech Raceway, a voice familiar to longtime dirt track fans across the Southeast will be calling the action.
Veteran Dirt Late Model announcer Travis Scott will be the voice of the brand new Super Late Model series and will serve as the tour’s lead announcer during its inaugural season of 20 races at 14 dirt tracks across Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, and Tennessee.
Scott has a long history in dirt track racing in the Southeast both as an announcer and as a series official with multiple tours and tracks. He served as the voice of the Southern All Star Racing Series from 2006 to 2010 and later began calling events for the Ultimate Super Late Model Series in 2014.
In recent years, Scott has cut back his time at the racetrack while focusing on his family. While he has served as the pit reporter for select races on the Castrol FloRacing Night in America tour since 2021, his role with the HTF Super Dirt Series this season will make for a long-awaited return to a full time announcing.
“I’m very excited about the opportunity with the HTF Super Dirt Series in 2023,” said Scott a native of Greenville, S.C., who now lives in Aiken. “I’ve been away from announcing full time for several years and always knew it would take something unique for me to return to the road. The HTF Series schedule is well thought out. Great money for the drivers. I think this series is something we can build into one of the premier regional tours in the country. The approach and philosophy of HTF is different and one that I think will benefit regional racers in the Southeast.”
“We’re very excited to have Travis as the voice of the HTF Series,” said HTF Super Dirt Series director Joshua Joiner. “It’s always been important to have a great announcer who can engage and entertain race fans, but it’s even more so now with the proliferation of online video and live streaming bringing in even larger audiences. I know Travis will do a great job entertaining fans that come to our races in person as well as those who watch online.”
The Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series presented by Sweet Victory Apparel is set to launch its inaugural season April 7-8 at All-Tech Raceway in Ellisville, Fla., with the Southbound Throwdown presented by Earth Tek. Competitors will chase a $50,000 points fund with $20,000 earmarked for the series champion set to be crowed at the third annual Southern Showcase Oct. 6-7 at Deep South Speedway in Loxley, Ala.
